___________________________Message from the ChiefThanks for taking the time to stop by to learn more about the Mineral Springs Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Our fire department serves 43 square miles in Union County, North Carolina. Our department operates out of two stations. The main station is located on Highway 75 inside Mineral Springs, North Carolina and houses 7 pieces of equipment. The sub-station is located at the intersection of Rocky River Road South and Doster Road. This station houses 4 pieces of equipment. We have recently changed from an all volunteer department to a combination department (volunteers and paid staff). We are continually seeking new volunteers for our department. January 6, 2025 February 3, 2025 March 3, 2025 April 7, 2025 May 5, 2025 June 2, 2025 July 7, 2025 Annual Meeting August 4, 2025 September 8, 2025 October 6, 2025 November 3, 2025 December 1, 2025 ------------------------------------------ Santa Run 2025 The Mineral Springs Fire Department has been working closely with Santa's Secret Service, and we're excited to announce that we've officially confirmed the dates, times, and routes for Santa's visit to our community. Please not that markers on the routes are not stopping points, apparatus will continue though most streets in each neighborhood. As always, our commitment to serving the community comes first. Santa will be joining us on emergencies, so please note that times may be adjusted, delayed, or cancelled depending on call volume. We appreciate your understanding as we balance spreading Christmas cheer with keeping our community safe. We're honored to help escort Santa as he brings Christmas spirit to Mineral Springs. Make sure to step outside, wave hello, and enjoy the season!
